1. What inspired you to get into this industry?
I was a European playboy bunny when I was 19, and have been a photographer since I was 17, so have been in front of and behind cameras for quite a while, I've also consequently spent said years huddled over fashion magazines/books soaking up inspiration and adoration for all my favorite models/artists/photographers and have always wanted to create inspiring imagery in the hope one day someone will do the same thing looking at my photos!
2. How long have you been modeling?
Seriously, only since August 2012, when I joined my agency Mode London, however I've been fannying around in front of cameras as an amateur for a good few years!
3. Who is your favorite model?
Hard one! But I'd have to dichotomize that into two genres; favorite glamour and lingerie model (aside from all the victoria secrets angels) is Kate Upton, as I adore her ability to sexualize things without being typically trashy or generic. Fashion wise, I'd have to say, as cliche as it is, Kate Moss, as a fellow Croydoner (the town I hail from), and as the most iconic model of our time. For me she epitomizes beauty and poise in a way no model since the supermodels of the 90's, (like your turlingtons and crawfords) has done since.
4. Tell us something random about yourself.
Aside from modelling, I'm a circus artist and I do very odd things like hammer nails in my nose, staple things to myself, do yoga moves on beds of nails, jump/walk on broken glass, and breathe fire! I also used to be the drummer in a (wannabe) death metal band when I was 15.
5. What are you most proud of?
As a circus performer, I was on tour for the final two years of my university degree, (I studied Classics and philosophy at Royal Holloway in London) and only attended around 40% of my lectures and still managed to graduate with a top grade! Also performing as the headline act last new years for the hilton island in the maldives was pretty high up there!
6. Upcoming projects?
I've recently returned from headlining supperclub in amsterdam, and have been invited back in May which I'm very excited about!
7. When it's all said and done, what do you want to be remembered as?
The mental circus aficionado, which savantish charm and an annoying propensity to correct people's grammar, who occasionally got half naked infront of a camera....who is now a crazy cat lady.
